German-Cypriot Forum
The German-Cypriot forum which was established in March 1999 is a registered association with a nation-wide network in Germany working for a peaceful solution of the Cyprus conflict and a rapprochement between Greek and Turkish Cypriots. To this end, the Forum cooperates closely with partners from both parts of the island of Cyprus. The German-Cypriot Forum is a venue for Germans, Greek and Turkish Cypriots, Greeks and Turks to pool their efforts in a spirit of understanding to help Cyprus on its road to membership of the European Union. On that road, there are historical issues to be faced, prejudices to be dismantled and new bridges to be built between erstwhile neighbours.
