Lapathos Village Reunion
July the 9th, 2000.
The Greek and Turkish Cypriot co-villagers of Lapathos [Bogazici] reunited at pergamos Park.

Old black and white photographs passing from hand to hand. This was the main theme of the Lapathos village reunion at pergamos park. Can you imagine? These Turkish Cypriots collected as many photographs as they could from the houses of their Greek Cypriot neighbours after they were forced to flee in 1974. They kept them for twenty six years waiting for the moment to give them back to their owners.

This meeting was the initiative of the Lapathos Expatriates Asociation.
